Tooth Whitening

Tooth whitening is the most popular cosmetic treatment requested by our patients. Magazine articles and makeover programmes often feature this treatment and as a result we have seen a huge increase in the uptake of this treatment. Whitening the teeth is a highly effective way of achieving a whiter smile without removing any tooth substance.

It is very satisfying to see our patients with a renewed confidence in their new whiter smile.

There are 2 main methods of tooth whitening

  1. Tray System
  2. In surgery

At Stoke Lane our preferred method is the tray system. Research has shown that the use of carbamide or hydrogen peroxide in custom made tooth shields produce better long term results that “laser treatments”

The results are excellent.
